A Library in a classroom serves as a relaxed environment for children to explore the wonderful world of literature.  It promotes language and reading readiness

skills, and the library also develops an appreciation for literature.  Writing, reading, and listening centers and flannel board puppets are included in this area of each classroom.  Exposure to such tools, books, and storytelling helps children understand that their feelings, fears, questions, and problems are not unique to them.
