Dramatic
Play involves children
taking on real or imaginary roles and
imitating a
particular behavior. Can’t
you just see the delight
in the children’s eyes
as they enter the magical world of
make-believe? Dramatic play offers children a forum in which to
act out fears safely, relive life experiences, and take on their
dreams. A house, doctor’s office, store, bakery, post office, an
igloo, tent, submarine, and spaceship are among some of the dramatic
play themes you may find in each classroom.
