In
a learning center, your child is able to have a hands-on opportunity to
reinforce skills and concepts that have been introduced in a group
environment. Themes, skills, and concepts are planned into each
organized learning center. When setting up our learning centers, we are
sure to consider the children’s ages, interests, needs, and abilities
as well. Learning centers constitute a significant portion of the daily
schedule in our early childhood classrooms, for children learn best
through active exploration and concrete experience.
